I have been trying to keep my kids at home to 'Flatten the Curve', and it's bloody hard!
So I have been researching and collecting online resources to keep us sane, and thought I might as well share them with you.
http://fuse.education.vic.gov.au/ - Huge website with lots and lots of stuff, mostly ideas about what learning activities you can do with kids. It can be filtered to show different age levels. It's really a website for parents to read and explore, not for kids to watch.
https://classroommagazines.scholastic.com/support/learnathome.html?caching - 20 days' worth of day-by-day projects, clearly divided into different age levels. Each day there are articles for reading (print or read online), short videos on the topic, some maths problems, and some days there are games to play.
https://www.abc.net.au/btn/ - BTN (Behind The News) is a great way to explain what's going on in the world to primary age kids.
https://www.literacyplanet.com/au/wordmania/ - An online word game to build vocabulary while playing a game.
https://www.natgeokids.com/au/ - National Geographic Kids.
https://www.typingclub.com/ - Learn touch typing for free.
https://www.khanacademy.org/ - Online Lessons divided into different grades
https://www.prodigygame.com/ - I'm in two minds about this one. It has a 'battle' format similar to 'Zelda' type games as a base, I'm not sure I like it.
https://www.starfall.com/ - game-based literacy
