The price is $190. Here's What It Includes:

- 15-minute photography session for your family.

- Choose between the red backdrop or the cream backdrop. 

- Online gallery of 5-10 edited photos to select from. 

- 3 high-resolution photos of your choice (digital download). 

What about clothing?

I highly recommend organising your own clothing for your family, especially since it might be difficult to convince strong-minded young children to change into unfamiliar clothing on the spot.

However, if you have a very easy-going child who doesn't mind getting dressed at a moment's notice, and are really struggling to find suitable clothing, you are welcome to use my studio wardrobe. 

I have boys Chinese style top sizes 2, 6, & 8.

Here's what you need to provide:
- Black tracksuit pants actually look very nice with this top. For boys who will only wear shorts, black shorts can work too.
- A tight-fitting singlet or t-shirt to go under the Chinese top to reduce skin contact. 

For Chinese dresses, I have a women's size 14, girls' sizes 2, 6, 10, & 14. 

Here's what you need to provide:
- A tight-fitting singlet or slip-dress to go under the Chinese dress to reduce skin contact. 

I also have a Chinese-style onesie roughly a 00 size, and a very versatile cape. 

If you don't want to wear traditional Chinese clothing, anything red will work! 

And Props?

I have a small range of props that we can use to make the photos fun: strings of little red lanterns, red packets, lucky-dragon (2024 is the year of the dragon), Chinese lucky scrolls, a bunch of red berries, etc. 

You are of course welcome to bring your own props as well. There are two shops in Box Hill Central that are currently stocked with a wide range of Chinese New Year accessories. 

1. Everything's a Good Buy, near Woolworths.

2. Home Avenue, opposite Dimmeys.

They might also have a small range of Chinese-style clothing as well. 

What if someone in my family is sick?

Just let me know 24hrs in advance and I'll refund your session fee. 

What if I need to reschedule to a different time?

Once you have made your booking, you will receive a confirmation email from my online calendar. There is a button on this email that allows you to reschedule to other available session times. 

Can I cancel?

A full refund is given if you notify me by email or text a minimum of 24 hours before your booked session.

A gift certificate to the value of your session is given if you have given less than 24 hours notice, but still before your session.

No refunds will be given for no-shows, or emails/text messages sent after your scheduled session time. 

What if I don't want the Chinese New Year themed background?

Please book a 'Playful Studio Session', a 'Fine Art Portrait Session', or a 'Bushland Family Session' instead.

Can I purchase additional photos?

Yes. Additional photos will be available at $35 each.
