Storytelling Kindergarten Photos
Ever wonder what your child's day at kinder is like?
I can tell you.
They play and laugh with friends, sing songs, dance, play with mud, listen to stories, play dress ups, paint, craft, run, jump, balance, swing... I'll capture the story of their day for you in pictures.
That's why I don't pose children for kinder photos. I don't herd them one after another like sheep to various 'posing stations' (eg. Now hold the paintbrush, now hold the telephone, etc.). I strongly believe that the aim of kinder photos is to capture their typical kinder day, so that they can remember it for years to come.
I want them to remember the activities they love doing, and the friends they love playing with. I want to capture them learning: drawing, crafting, singing, reading, concentrating. I also love photographing them at play: running, jumping, wild hair and muddy shoes, with the most carefree smiles on their faces.
If you're after picture-perfect clean and neat children posing for the camera, then this is not the right style for you. (Perhaps check out my Studio Style School Portraiture or Kindergarten Portrait Fundraisers instead).
But if after reading this your heart is beating faster because this is EXACTLY how you would love to remember your child's kinder years, then get in touch with me as early in the year as you can (before my diary fills up).
